We will be covering areas such as inclusionary practices vs. exclusionary practices, cross cultural communication, understanding and managing our privilege, modeling championing  behaviors, and respecting generational differences. This course is offered on two different dates (Chose either one morning or one afternoon session).

ATTENTION PREVENTION PROVIDERS:  All are welcome to attend this free event. This is a training primarily intended for DMHAS funded prevention providers, particularly focused for SPF-SIG/BP and PFS grantees and their members. It will help the interaction on the day of the event, if you can bring a list of special issues you may have with your coalitions, or questions you want to have answered at this time. SPF-SIG/ Best Practice/Performance for Success Grantees can also review your SPF-SIG "5 Steps" for your specific DMHAS-Funded grant programs, to start thinking of how this training will influence your Capacity building throughout the process. Remember, this is a foundational class that should help you apply theory to your SPF-SIG/BP/PFS practice and steps. If you are not a DMHAS-Funded prevention program provider nor receive these particular program/ grant funds, you are welcome to attend. Feel free to contact us if you have any concerns or questions however. Email: tpetro@mli-inc.org or 203-691-1486 ext 204. Thank you!
